High End Christmas Party Lookbook

With Christmas just around the corner there's no time to waste.  The party season is here and you need to be looking fabulous!  You need to be the one that stands out and looks the best without a doubt.  For Christmas in particular, I've created a stunning and classy mood board to give you some inspiration.

Starting off with the outfit, a gorgeous lacy black dress is perfect because it's Christmas and the colours should be more dark and glamorous with red and gold or silver as the only colours that bring a pop.  This gorgeous lacy black midi style dress from Dodo Bar Or is perfect as it's very classy looking and goes with a lot.  It's also the perfect length as it's neither too short nor too long.  I personally love the fact that it's long sleeved too because Christmas time, especially over here in England, is freezing and no one wants cold arms.  It's high neck too so it's definitely a win win for the colder weather.

Going perfectly with the black lace dress are these glamorous strappy metallic heels.  These go so well because they aren't too bulky, they are very delicate and feminine, just like the dress.  The gold colour ties in really well with the whole Christmas theme and colour combination.  I'm really fussy when it comes to heels but these ones caught my eye because they are so simple yet elegant.  They really can make any outfit look very high end and stylish, so I'd say at £25 you can't really go wrong.

Next for the accessories I've picked three main ones that will pull the whole outfit together and really make it jaw dropping.  Accessories are so much more important than most people realise.  Most people think that a look is all about the outfit but the accessories play such a huge role too.  They are what makes the outfit stand out and look as fabulous as it does.  The first accessory I've picked is a red Chanel Maxi Flap Bag.  A bag obviously is a must have for a party.  You're going to need one to carry all your bits and bobs, but if you are going to have one you may as well get the most luxurious and stylish one possible.  Chanel bags always look very stylish, but this red one is so utterly perfect for the Christmas season.  It's such a beautiful, slightly dark red too, which I love.

The next accessory I've chosen is this exquisite rose gold Cartier ring.  This ring truly is gorgeous.  I love that it's quite simple but far from boring.  It's definitely a statement piece of jewellery.  I love the beautiful warm pink tone to it that turns it into a delightfully pretty rose gold.  This ring is definitely something you'll be wanting to wear on a special occasion like Christmas.

The final accessory are these magnificent and rather dazzling earrings.  They add that eye-catching touch and make everything look so glamorous.  These earrings are from Kate Spade but unfortunately they're out of stock but I managed to find some very similar ones and they are actually only £50 and considering they're a designer brand, that's not too bad.

Now for makeup.  Warm tones for your eyes are really lovely as they don't take the attention away from everything else yet they bring a nice touch at the same time.  This strikingly glorious eyeshadow palette by Stila has all the warm tones and nudes, with some other pretty colours like a dark green, a red and a gold, which yet again is perfect for Christmas.  To complete the Christmas makeup a red lip is perfect.

Now what would Christmas (or any special occasion) be without a nice drink for the adults?!  This champagne by Perrier Jouët is the perfect drink for any party.

To go along with the champagne are these luxurious glasses.  I think it's always good to invest in some nice glasses because they will last you many years and look far more fabulous than any old cheap glasses.

17 Things You Didn't Know About Me

I always love reading and watching stuff where you learn knew things about people.  It's just so cool to see how different everyone is and what makes them so original.  I've seen tons of people do tags like '50 Facts About Me' and similar things so I thought I would do '17 Things You Didn't Know About Me' to mix it up a bit.  Without further ado here are 17 things that you didn't know about me...

1) I'm Home educated

I am currently home educated but I have been to school plenty of times.  After moving house I started a new primary school and went there for about a year, but it was so bad for a number of reasons.  Something that I hated a lot about that school is that nearly everyone there was an international so every time I made a friend they would leave, I was constantly surrounded by new people I didn't know.  After being home educated for three years I decided to join secondary school.  I went there for almost two years.  All I'm going to say about that is that I'm glad I left.  😂

2) I'm 5'2

Yes I know, I'm very petite, but I have the French side of my family to blame for that!  My parents are both average height but all the females on the French side of my family are about 5'3 or 5'2.  Don't get me wrong though, I do love being petite!

3) I have 7 Siblings

I know I know, that might seem like tons to the average person but I'm so used to it that it doesn't feel like many to me.  I love having all my siblings, we're all so close, I don't know where I'd  be without them.  Being the second oldest is perfect for me because I'm naturally a little bossy and when it comes to the older siblings, well they're allowed to be a tiny bit bossier.  😉

4) My Favourite Video Game is the Sims

I don't play video games at all really, but I have been obsessed with the sims ever since I first started playing it about 10 years ago.  It's just so fun and a great game to play if you're ever bored, it's best on the PS4 though.

5) I Love Knitting

I learned to knit years and years ago and I've just been hooked ever since.  It's great to do while you're watching a film or chatting away.  It feels so good to be wearing something like a jumper that you know you made.  It's a proud moment.

6) I Hate Maths

I really hate maths.  I used to love it so much but I've got maths trauma from primary school (another reason I hate school, they try and put you off everything).  Of course I still do maths, I just hate it.  My brain just completely shuts down as soon as I start doing any.

7) I Love English Literatue

English literature has always been my favourite, along with any type of science.  This is just a subject that I really enjoy and I'm atually good at.  I'd love to get a masters degree in it.

8) I Stopped Wearing Makeup for a Year

I just got so so sick of wearing makeup.  It wasn't helping my skin get better at all and I'd been wearing it for 2 and a half years without a break.  Having that year long break was one of the best things I ever did.  My skin got so much better and I  learned a lot about what suits me and what doesn't.

9) I'd Like a Lot of Children

Growing up in a big family has been such a lovely experiance for me and so that has kind of pushed me to wanting to have lots of children of my own.  I sometimes say I want at least 10 children but it's always changing.  I'd be extremely happy with just one.

10) I've Never Had to go to the Doctors

I'd like to say I'm a pretty healthy person considering I've never had to go the doctors.  I've never even broken a bone.

11) I Love Long Distance Running

I've been doing long distance running since I was about 7 years old.  It's the only type of running I like.  Without sounding too bigheaded I'd like to say I think I'm pretty good at it.

12) I've Dyed my Hair Black Before

About 2 years ago I dyed my hair black.  It was meant to be a temporary dye but it just never washed out.  I had to go through a horrible stage of growing it out, and honestly, there were days when I felt like shaving all my hair off.  I don't think I would've ever gone quite that far though. 😂  I have currently got black on the last 3 or 4 inches of my hair but it's faded a lot and actually looks alright.  Anyway, what I learned from this is to never dye my hair again and appreciate what colour I already have.  Remember that, fellow redheads!

13) I Don't Have a Mobile Phone

Shocking I know.  It's not that shocking when you find out that I have an iPod Touch and can do everything you can on a normal mobile phone other than ring people which I don't particularly want to do anyway.

14) My Real Name is Honey

My real name that I was born with is Honey and I love it loads but I called my blog after part of my middle name, mainly for anonymity reasons.

15) I Learned to Read When I was 3 Years Old

English has always been my thing.  Although I mainly wanted to learn to read so I could join in with everyone doing karaoke.

16) I'm English, French, Spanish and Welsh

I love all the countries that I'm from so that's a first. 😂

17) I Uploaded my First Video to YouTube when I was 11 Years Old

I wanted to join in with the YouTube gang and so I uploaded a few videos to YouTube when I was 11 years old.  I gave up after about 5 videos though.  *cringe*

That is all for this tag.  This was really fun to do and I hoped you learned something new about me.  I tag Marina from Marina Writes Life, Andrea from IndigoSkysBlog, Grace from Somewhat Reserved and Imogen from Imogen's Stories .  Anyone can do this but those are the people I'd really love to see do it.   Don't forget that the questions can be related to anything about you, it could be random things people didn't know about you, it could be beauty related things people didn't know about you, just whatever you want!  If you do this then please tag 3 or more people to join in.

My Christmas Wishlist | Gift Guide for Her

Christmas time is such a wonderful time of the year because everyone is so happy and festive, even the most miserable people look a little happier.  There are lights everywhere and the smell of delicious food is impossible to miss.  Laughter travels down every alleyway.  It's not just Christmas though, the whole of December is like this and I love it.  Everyone is buying presents with a warmth in their heart, knowing that the person receiving them will be so full of joy.  Some people struggle with gift ideas and that can be one of the worst things, so I thought I would share my Christmas wishlist as it might help some of you with some gift ideas that someone close to you will cherish.

1) Classic Old Skool Vans

Personally I think shoes are a great idea for Christmas.  People always need or want them and what's better than a pair of Classic Old Skool Vans?  They are super casual and stylish, also very fashionable at the moment.  Vans last for years and are extremely good quality, what's not to love about that?!

They constantly seem to be trendy or as I said before, 'fashionable', which is perfect if you have more of a fashionista that you are buying gifts for.  I would highly recommend buying a pair of these as a gift for someone, whether that be a male or female, teen or adult.

2) A String of Fairy Lights

A string of  fairy lights would be a lovely gift.  They make a room look so cosy.  They are also great lighting so if you are gifting someone who is a YouTuber, Blogger or even just a selfie-taker then this is a great gift idea.

You can have these fairy lights anywhere, on the wall, in front of a tapestry or in front of curtains as shown on the picture above.  These are also great if your room is looking a little dull or empty.

3) A Bag

Bags are brilliant for a number of reasons and they make great Christmas presents.  I really like the look of a Gucci Disco Bag but lately I've been loving this Michael Kors small leather backpack.  I think it's actually pretty affordable for an adult and I just love it.  The colour is stunning and very autumnal or wintry.

If I received this backpack as a gift for Christmas I'd be over the moon.  It really is gorgeous, and at the end of the day, what girl doesn't want a new bag?

4) Polaroid Instax Mini 9

I've wanted one of these cameras for the longest time.  I just love the fact that you can capture the moment right there and then and not have to worry about posing and taking a million photos.  These are just perfect in every way.

I love these Instax Mini cameras in blue.  I think it just looks really cute.  This would be the perfect gift for someone who loves photography, likes to be 'tumblr' or just likes to take the odd photo for memories.

5) A Jewelry Box

Jewelry boxes have always been so special to me.  I've only had one in my whole life and it's a really cute little vintage looking one.   It's so dainty and I love it so much but I really need a bigger one.  I don't have much jewelry but I do like a nice jewelry box.  Lately I've been loving the look of mirrored jewelry boxes.

6) A Dark Red Lipstick

I am obsessed with dark red lipstick at the moment.  It's a look which I think a lot of people can pull off if they get the right shade for their skin tone.  I found one that would be perfect for me and that is this Lime Crime one in the shade 'Bloodmoon'.

It's such a gorgeous shade of red and perfect for the winter season.  I think a dark red lip is great because it's a lot more daring and that really pays off if you do it well.

7) An Eyeliner

Eyeliner is an amazing thing.  You can completely change the shape of your eyes with it or you can really enhance the shape and color of your eyes.  I love a jet black eyeliner, but only if it's a liquid formula and this one from Tarte is just that.

This is the perfect gift for someone who loves their makeup.  Tarte has amazing quality makeup and the packaging is always eye catching.  I love the packaging of this eyeliner in particular, it's super cute.

8) A Watch

I know everyone has mobile phones now but what about when they run out and you're are out and about?  Watches are brilliant because not only are they useful, they also make a beautiful fashion statement.  I love watches that have a leather strap because it really gives them that extra stylish look.

This watch in particular is really lovely.  I think the pink and the rose gold goes so well and it's also really feminine and pretty.  I don't think you can really go wrong with a watch that looks like this because it's got quite a classic feel to it but with a modern twist.

9) Colouring Pencils

If you have a more arty friend or whoever you're are buying gifts for, then this is the perfect present.  Colouring pencils are great and all but only if you're going to get the best quality.  These Prisma pencils are known for their outstanding quality.  These are the pencils that artists use, especially ones that do hyper realism.

This pack of 150 is amazing because they're going to last for absolutely ages and they'll have every colour they could ever need.  I'd definitely recommend getting pencils from Prisma.

To go along with  the pencils a good quality sketchbook is a useful present.  Pink Pig have really good sketchbooks and this one is so nice.  I love the burgundy colour, it makes it a little more interesting than a plain black one.

Nail polish is a lovely way to add more colour to your outfit but sometimes it's nice to have a more simple nail colour.  It enhances your nails but it isn't too much.  Essie nail polish is incredible, you only really have to do one or two coats and you're good to go.  This colour, 'ballet slippers' is the perfect nude.

12) Fluffy White Slippers

Every girl wants, maybe even needs, fluffy white slippers.  They are the most feminine, cute and wonderful slippers ever.  I absolutely love these ones by Muk Luks.

The fluffy pom poms make these even better.

12) Reindeer Onsie

I hate onsies so much that no one will ever understand but I do have an exception.  This reindeer onsie is the cutest and most adorable thing I have ever seen.  I don't know what it is about it but I just love it.

13) Chocolate

No Christmas is complete without chocolate.  Chocolate is obviously a must have present for most people.  My personal favourite is Guylian chocolate.  It is the most amazing and luxurious chocolate I have ever had in my entire life.  Everything about them from the smell to the taste to the look to the feel, they are just perfect.

I would really urge you to buy this chocolate for any chocolate lover, they won't be disappointed.

That is all for my Christmas wishlist/gift guide for her.  I hope this helps you out in some way or another.  I definitely think there is something on this list for everyone whether they be arty, fashionable, casual or chocolate obsessed.

Fenty Beauty Review + Giveaway

Ever since Fenty Beauty makeup has been released, I have been dying to try out at least a couple of the products.  Everyone seemed to have mixed reviews about the makeup and at the end of the day you'll never know if you like something unless you try it yourself.

I bought the Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Lightening Dust and Fire Crystal and the Cosmic Gloss Lip Glitter in Astro Naughty.

When the parcel arrived I was quite anxious.  I was wondering if the products would even be very pigmented and if they would have been worth the money.

The packaging was so sleek and stylish.  When I opened the Killawatt Highlighter I was in awe.  It looked so sparkly and pretty.  I rushed to get a brush so I could try it on and wow, it was incredible.  This was the first highlighter that had ever shown up on me and it was truly glowing.  I couldn't have been more happy and pleasantly surprised.  This highlighter truly was worth every penny and I'm so pleased that I bought it.  This highlighter changes your whole makeup look from a dull anybody to a healthy glowing goddess.  I might be a bit over the top when talking about it, but seriously, I would so highly recommend it.

Next in the parcel was the Cosmic Gloss.  The packaging on this was truly eye catching.

The lid of the lip-gloss had a stunning sheen and changed colour as you moved it in the light.  The actual lip-gloss looked so sparkly and gorgeous in its plummy red shade.  I applied the lip-gloss right away.  I was shocked at how pigmented, sparkly and shiny this was.  It looked fabulous and changed the whole makeup look to a very stylish, almost daring, autumnal/wintery look.  I immediately thought of how lovely this would be to wear at Christmas time.

Overall I am extremely happy with the products I bought.  Everything about them from the packaging to the quality was jaw dropping.  It's not everyday that I splurge on some makeup but I'm so glad I did this time.

So as a special treat for you my #HoneyBunnys I have a fabulous giveaway so you can win your very own Limited Edition Cosmic Gloss Lip Glitter in Astro Naughty!

This is an international giveaway.  Good luck!  💖💖💖

Skin Care Routine + Tips For Keeping Your Skin Clear

Having a good skincare routine is vital to having a gorgeous healthy glow and clear skin.  I didn't really have a skincare routine until about a year ago and my goodness has my skin changed since I started having one!  I used to just remove my makeup and go to bed and this really wasn't good for my skin as just using a makeup wipe wasn't cleaning my face properly.  My pores felt really clogged and I just didn't feel great.  I started to get loads of spots and I didn't really know what to do but slowly and gradually I started to build up a skin care routine to the point where I am now.  My skin is so much clearer than it used to be and it feels a lot healthier.  So without further ado, here is my skincare routine....

Step 1: Exfoliating

Keeping your skin exfoliated is so important in a  skin care routine because if you don't exfoliate your old skin cells will start to pile up and make your skin really dirty which will lead to acne and at the end of the day I think it's safe to assume no one wants acne!  To exfoliate I use a natural face wash and gently scrub my face using a cotton flannel daily.

Step 2: Moisturising

After I have finished exfoliating I will move on to moisturising.  Moisturiser is not something I have always used, but it really is worth the extra money/hassle.  When I first started building up my skincare routine I only exfoliated, moisturising didn't really cross my mind, that is until, my skin started to get a little dryer than usual.  Once my skin started to get quite dry I realised that I should probably moisturise.  I spent ages looking for a moisturiser that was more natural and had no parabens or other harmful chemicals in and that is when I came across Weleda Almond Soothing Facial Cream.

This has been a really great moisturiser for me (as I'm sure you can tell considering I'm now squashing the packaging to get the last bits out) because I'm not overly keen on moisturisers like coconut oil as they don't really settle into the skin as much as I'd like.  This one is a creamy consistency and my skin really absorbs it a lot quicker than many others I have tried.

When I started to exfoliate and moisturise daily my skin became a lot clearer and definitely looked a lot healthier but it wasn't quite where I wanted it to be.  I still had a couple of spots that would go away for a day and then appear somewhere else on my face and I wasn't very happy about it.  I wanted to have perfectly clear skin that lasted more than just a day.  Here are my top tips for achieving clear skin....

Step 1:  Drink Tons of Water

I didn't really drink much water for a long time and was usually quite dehydrated.  All of this changed when I read somewhere that drinking lots of water was actually a great way to clear your skin.  The first thing I did was look up how much water I should be drinking at my age and that was it, every single day ever since then I have been drinking the right amount of water and spreading it throughout the day.  My skin looked SO much better after just about 3 days of doing this.

Step 2:  Avoid Sugar (as much as possible)

Now I'm not saying that I don't have any sugar at all.  Everything we have should definitely be in moderation, but I have cut out a lot of sugar compared to the amount that I used to have.  I used to have at least a pile of sweets a day and maybe a fizzy drink 2-3 times a week.  Looking back I actually can't believe I would do that to my poor, poor skin.  I first cut down on the amount of sugar I had when I saw a video about how fizzy drinks are made and all the chemicals that are in them.  That video put me of fizzy drinks completely and I haven't had one fizzy drink for about a year now.  Obviously you don't have to completely cut something out like that, but me being the over-the-top person I am just had to.  I also stopped having as many sweets and other unhealthy 'treats'. I will admit that I do still have the occasional 'treat' but it's definitely not so often.

Step 3:  Exercise

Sweating is an amazing way to get rid of toxins in your body. Toxins can quite often come out as spots on our face but if you're getting rid of them by sweating from exercising then obviously you're not going to get as many spots.  If you are so lucky as to have a sauna then I would recommend using that too.

And that is my skincare routine + tips for keeping your skin clear.  I really hope this has helped you out in some sort of way and that you can take away a tip or two from this.  Taking care of ourselves is so important and it's always nice to hear what everyone else does so that we can learn something and pass it along to help even more people out.  If you have a great skincare routine or any fabulous tips then please do let me know in the comments!

Freshlook Coloured Contact Lenses Review

I have wanted to try coloured contact lenses for longer than I can remember, so when I got the chance to review Freshlook Coloured Contact lenses, I couldn't resist!  I had never worn contact lenses before I received the ones I have now, so I didn't really know what to expect.
You can choose from 12 different colours, which is very hard because they all look so incredible. I ended up picking Gemstone Green as I have always thought that it would be so cool to have green eyes.

The contact lenses arrived in a nice little box which I thought looked very neat and tidy.  The packaging was very good and very appropriate for the products.

The box included:

  • Renu All in One Starter Pack Sensitive Eyes
  • Freshlook Colorblends | Gemstone Green

The coloured contact lenses look great and I couldn't wait to try them on for the first time.  Before I put the contact lenses in, I was hoping that they were going to look very natural so that I could wear them out and about and still look normal.

I was pleasantly surprised at how natural yet different they looked. The Gemstone Green contact lenses were so nice and vibrant.  I really wasn't expecting them to look as good as they did.  Although I struggled to get them in the first time, it was much easier the second time I tried.
When I first wore the contact lenses I found them quite uncomfortable but after a little while I got used to them and they were fine to wear without any discomfort.

There are so many benefits to coloured contact lenses.  One of the main benefits is that you can change your eye colour to practically any colour and it's so fun to change up your look every now and then.  They are also great for occasions like Halloween too.

Overall I am over the moon with my contact lenses and would definitely recommend them to anyone who hasn't tried coloured contact lenses before or anyone who just want to change up their look and try something new for a bit of fun.  For the price of £8.50 per lens and £4.00 for the Renu All in One Starter Pack, you can't really go wrong.  If you would like to buy yourself a pair of these amazing lenses then you can do so by clicking here.

Disclaimer:  I was sent a pair of coloured contact lenses in exchange for a review.  All words and opinions are my own.

Should You Buy Organic and Natural Makeup?

Millions of women across the world wear makeup, but few seem to know about the harsh and dangerous chemicals that are used in some of the most popular makeup brands.  Here are just a few of the chemicals that can be found in most makeup products:

Parabens. Parabens can come in the form of butylparaben, ethylparaben, isobutylparaben, methylparaben, or propylparaben.  Parabens are chemicals which have been used since the 1950s to prevent bacteria and act as a preservative in deodorants, lotions, lipsticks, shampoos, scrubs, and many more products.  You can also find them in food and pharmaceutical products.  Studies have shown that some parabens can mimic the activity of the hormone oestrogen in the body’s cells, and while estrogenic activity is associated with certain forms of breast cancer, parabens have been found present in breast tumours.
Synthetic colours. These synthetic colors are derived from petroleum or coal tar sources. Synthetic colors are suspected to be a human carcinogen, a skin irritant and are linked to ADHD in children. The European Classification and Labeling considers it a human carcinogen and the European Union has banned it.
Fragrance. As the consumer you could be putting on a concoction that contains tons of chemicals that are hazardous to your health. According to the Environmental Working Group (EWG) Skin Deep Database, fragrance mixes have been associated with allergies, dermatitis, respiratory distress and potential effects on the reproductive system. It can be found in many products such as perfume, cologne, conditioner, shampoo, body wash and moisturizers.
Phthalates. A group of chemicals used in hundreds of products to increase the flexibility and softness of plastics. The main phthalates in cosmetics and personal care products are dibutyl phthalate in nail polish, diethyl phthalate in perfumes and lotions, and dimethyl phthalate in hair spray. They are known to be endocrine disruptors and have been linked to increased risk of breast cancer, early breast development in girls, and reproductive birth defects in males and females. It is not disclosed on every product as it’s added to fragrances.  They can be found in deodorants, perfumes/colognes, hair sprays and moisturizers.
Triclosan. Tricolson is widely used antimicrobial chemical that’s a known endocrine disruptor — especially thyroid and reproductive hormones, and a skin irritant. Studies raise concerns that triclosan contributes to making bacteria antibiotic-resistant. There also wasn’t enough supporting evidence that washing with antibacterial soaps containing triclosan provides any benefit over washing with regular soap and water. Tricolson can be found in toothpastes, antibacterial soaps and deodorants.
Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) / Sodium laureth sulfate (SLES). This surfactant can be found in more than 90 percent of personal care and cleaning products (especially foaming products). SLS’s are known to be skin, lung, and eye irritants. A major concern about SLS is its potential to interact and combine with other chemicals to form nitrosamines, a carcinogen. These combinations can lead to a host of other issues like kidney and respiratory damage. They can be found in shampoo, body wash/cleanser, mascara and acne treatment.
Formaldehyde. Formaldehyde and formaldehyde-releasing preservatives (FRP’s) preservatives are used in many cosmetic products to help prevent bacteria growth. This chemical was deemed as a human carcinogen by The International Agency for Research on Carcinogens (IARC) and has been linked to occupational related cancers: nasal and nasopharyngeal. It is known to cause allergic skin reactions and it may also be harmful to the immune system. It can be found in nail polish, body washes, conditioners, shampoos, cleansers, eye shadows, nail polish treatments, e.c.t.
And you have to remember that these are just a few harmful chemicals.  They use many more like Arsenic, Cadmium, Chromium, Cobalt, Lead, Mercury, and Nickel Content.  And this is why we should buy organic and natural makeup.  We should be supporting the small companies who actually care about what is going on your skin and not the big makeup brands who just care about using the cheapest chemicals to make the most money.  And that is why you should buy organic and natural makeup.

I Heart Spring Tag

Spring is finally here and now the countdown for summer begins!  After what feels like a super long winter, it's nice to have pops of colour everywhere, along with flowers and warm weather.  The weather is perfect, you can actually go outside because it's not freezing anymore, and it's not super-duper hot so that you have to stay indoors.  Also I love that in spring we can welcome more colour into our outfits and wear more pastels.  Oh and lets not forget that the days get longer so we can spend more time out in the sunshine!

Favorite spring nail polish?

I love the colour of this Tanya Burr nail vanish in Pick n' Mix.  It's a a fun pastel pink spring colour.  I would wear this a lot more if it wasn't so sheer.  Unfortunately, as it is so sheer, I have to do several coats before the colour actually shows as much as it's supposed to.

Must have lip color this spring?

A must have lip colour this spring is the  NYX Professional Make-Up - Soft Matte Lip Cream.

These liquid lipsticks are amazing and they are super pigmented.  I would really love to get more of these, but currently the one in the shade 'Milan' is my favourite for spring.

Favorite spring dress?

My favourite spring dress is this gorgeous one I bought from Yumi after Christmas.

I love the way it comes in at the waist and flares out below that.  I also love that you can tie it at the back.

Favorite flower?

I love peonies and roses.  They are both so pretty!

Favorite spring accessory?

This gorgeous faux leather backpack I was gifted.

I love it so much and I always have it with me, wherever I go.  I think it adds so much more to an outfit and makes everything go together.

I love how stylish and sleek it looks, I also love the fact that it's more of a mini backpack but not too small, as I really didn't want to have to carry around a big bulky backpack and I didn't want one SO small that I couldn't actually fit anything in.  I would highly recommend getting one!

What spring trends are you most excited for this year (fashion and makeup)?

I'm so excited about the off the-shoulder and cold shoulder trend!  I am also obsessed with bell sleeves.  I feel like spring is going to be a good season for fashion and I'm so excited.  I'm also so glad that the big dark eyebrows are going!  I've had enough of it and can't wait for them to go!  The spring and the rest of 2017 is going to be all about natural eyebrows and eyelashes, just an overall more natural look.

Favorite spring candle?

My favourite spring candle is definitely the Nectarine Blossom & Honey Candle by Jo Malone. It is such a spring smelling candle.  I absolutely love it.  I love all Jo Malone candles but this one definitely has to be one of my favourites.

Favorite body spray or perfume for spring?

My favourite perfume/spray is the CHANEL COCO MADEMOISELLE Eau De Parfum Spray.  It's a classic and I love it.  It smells amazing and will always be my go to.

What is spring like where you live?

Spring where I live is good.  The weather is getting really warm already and I'm so happy about it.  We didn't have any snow this winter so there are no puddles.  I hope it continues to get warmer and warmer.

Are you a spring cleaner?

Yes!  I always seem to have more energy in the spring, so I guess I'm a spring cleaner.

Any plans for spring break or an upcoming vacation?

No plans other than spending lots of time with family, going to the park a lot, celebrating my brothers birthday which happens to be the same day as Easter and eating tons of chocolate!

I'm not exactly sure who has and hasn't done this tag so you can consider yourself tagged if you want to do it. I will be tagging Alex from Heartful Living, Samantha from Artful Samantha and Imogen from Imogen's Stories.
